Countrywide’s Planitherm Four Seasons Glass
A New concept in conservatory glazing for all year round comfort! A conservatory should be a natural extension to the home providing useable, extra living space that can be enjoyed whatever the time of year! Countrywide’s PLANITHERM 4S has been developed especially for our Glass House, Glass Rooms and Conservatory glazing applications. Offering excellent solar control properties, reduced glare and enhanced thermal insulation Countrywide’s PLANITHERM 4S provides true year round comfort when used throughout the conservatory.
	How it works
Responding to consumer demand Our clients demand high performance conservatory solutions to suit their modern lifestyle needs. It is no longer acceptable that such an important investment be unusable for 9 months of the year due to excessively warm or cold conditions. A recent consumer study* showed that the 2 most important considerations when buying a Glass Room, Glass House or Conservatory were; thermal insulation and solar control. Of the 220 respondents, 71% said they would choose to upgrade to these premium functions. Results from a conservatory glazing study show that using Countrywide’s PLANITHERM4S throughout can reduce peak summer temperatures by an astonishing 13°C when compared to traditional low-E glazing. Countrywide's Glazing Styles
Heavy doors – easily opened With the lift-and slide door system, you can also move heavy glass fronts with little effort. Simply lift and slide to the side.	Side glazing – matched perfectly Glass doors and windows of your choice, or fixed glass sections – it can all be fitted easily because the sections are all matched to each other. If there is not much space: they can be tilted. The space saving tilt and slide doors can be moved to the side easily and comfortably from the tilting position. When open, you have a clear view of the garden, when tilted they provide excellent ventilation.
To open large fronts One turn of the hand and your sliding doors are open. The benefit of this feature is that you can fit your glass house out with large glass surfaces – and open virtually the entire front as soon it turns warm.	To open extra-large fronts Accordion partitions are best installed where you want to create a connecting passage with a large opening. As the partitions slide together sideways, you can open up an entire side of your glass house. By applying the concertina principle, you can therefore make entire glass fronts disappear instantly to create the ultimate sense of the outdoors.
